~Beautiful World~

I'm going to Paris tomorrow and returning next Friday.

When I return, I'm expecting to have a small pile of post on my bed - my Elfen Lied box set, Negima volume 15 and two copies of Megumi Magazine - 85 and 88. Let's hope that it all arrives!

And tomorrow - some to become today - is the launch of the first new Evangelion movie in Japan. I'm listening to the opening single, Beautiful World, at the moment. It's really lovely :) Hopefully by the time I get back from Paris the raws will have hit the torrentnet at the very least. I'm holding out for a subtitled version by the time I get back as well, but I don't mind watching it in raw if I have to... I know Eva very well, so it shouldn't be too much of a problem.

In town today I picked up a couple of new dvds - Negima! volume 2 and Solid State Society. SSS has a broken case, though, it turns out, so I'm going to have to take it back to HMV when I get back from Paris. Speaking of HMV, I was very impressed with their selection of anime today. Not bad at all! The Elfen Lied box set isn't so hot, though... It's in a thin cardboard case with four dvd-mounts glued to the inside. Cheapskates ¬_¬. I bet it doesn't include the OVA either! The Love Hina box set looked lovely, though. Maybe when I get my NHS pay at the end of September it'll be time to treat myself to a few things that I've wanted for a while - the rest of the Ai Yori Aoshi manga, a few box sets I've had my eyes on, Fate/stay night and Nanoha figures, figures of Rei, Mikuru and Yuki (mixing animes there, but it feels like a sin to not have them!), legal copies of Fate/stay night and Tsukihime, a laptop raiser/cooler, new USB hubs... Man, it's far too easy to think of a list of things that I want to buy!

I should go and start getting ready for bed now. The only other things that I have to say are that Zero no Tsukaima and Great Giant Robo are brilliant, as is Evangelion (even though it looks a bit dated now...). Oh, and Anzu is hawt!
