[LJ2ME (http://www.xfyre.com/sw/lj2me.html)]Better watch it, son...

So. Travelling again. This time it's a quick trip home to take stuff back for Easter. Oh, and to spent a nice relaxing weekend with my family. I'll be returning to Egham on Monday, marking coursework on Tuesday and Wednesday, then going home properly on Thursday. I really can't wait :-)
As for what I'm taking home on this trip, that would be my bass, bass amp, surround sound speakers (curses, I forgot the centre speaker!), all my dvds that were in Egham, Cat + hard drive, my guitar stand and as much manga as I could manage... Ouch!

What have I been working on recently? Well, since my group project ended, I've been playing around with the idea of writing a spell-checker in Java. I've already got a 400kb dictionary file, and I've written a method to check if a word is in there. However, spell-checkers have a rather useful, yet complicated feature: they can suggest the correct spelling of a misspelt word. I'm somewhat at a loss here. Simply checking how many letters are in the correct position and rejecting or selecting those that don't meet a certain standard seems to be a litte weak. Admittedly, I've just realised that I got one of my if statements wrong, but I don't hold much hope in this method. I'll have to have a look around, see if I can find some research on misspellings or something. I should have a play with Word as well, see if I can work out how it's evaluating words. It's a very interesting problem, no?
Anyway, that's all I have to say for now. That said, if anyone knows how to find out the size of a file represented by a File object in Java, I'd appreciate a heads up ^^.

Good afternoon.
